Sports Interaction App Guide
Sports Interaction does not run one app for the whole country. Reviewers describe three builds, one each for Ontario, Alberta and the rest of Canada, and each is tied to a different licence. This guide covers what the store listings reportedly show, who publishes the Sports Interaction app and which provinces each build serves. It also explains when the Sports Interaction mobile site is the better route. We reviewed our sources in November 2026. They are third-party, and we could not open the official App Store or Google Play pages during that check, so every listing detail below is reported rather than confirmed. Ontario players must be 19+ and Alberta players 18+.
What the App Store and Google Play listings reportedly show
On iOS, reviewers name the listing Sports Interaction: Bet and Play. On Android, toffeeweb.com describes a Google Play listing called simply Sports Interaction, filed under Entain. The same two problems come up again and again. The iOS app may not appear unless your Apple ID region is set to Canada. And an unrelated scores app can rank above the sportsbook in Google Play search.
We do not publish store ratings. The figures quoted on review sites are undated, and an old rating says little about the build on your phone today. To find the right listing:
- Search from inside Canada, with your store account set to Canada.
- Check that the developer or seller field names Entain or an Entain operating company before you install.
- Read the description for the province it serves. Ontario builds normally reference iGaming Ontario.
- Compare the support link in the listing with the operator's own site for your province.
- Skip APK files from third-party websites. A betting app installed outside the official store cannot be verified.
Who publishes the app?
Third-party sources name Entain as the parent company, and toffeeweb lists the Android app under Entain. The Ontario operator is reported as ElectraWorks Maple Limited, an Entain company, so the Ontario listing may show that entity instead. We have not confirmed the exact seller name on iOS or the developer name on each Android build from the store pages. If the publisher field shows a name you don't recognise, don't install the app.
Ontario: the build with the clearest paper trail
Ontario is the best-documented case. There is a regulated platform at on.sportsinteraction.com, which Squawka says launched in August 2022, and an Ontario-specific app that reviewers say mirrors that site. Ontario bets are only allowed while you are inside the province. Expect the app to ask for location access and to block wagers if it cannot confirm where you are. Account rules, offers and support follow the Ontario terms covered in our Ontario access and conditions guide.
Alberta: licensed in July 2026, app still to be confirmed
Alberta opened its regulated online market on 13 July 2026. Sports Interaction received its AGLC licence on 23 July 2026, according to igaming.org and si.com. Reviewers at canadasportsbetting.ca describe an Alberta build with the same markets and bet slip as the others. We have not seen an Alberta listing on either store, and 'same markets' remains unverified. If you are in Calgary, Edmonton or anywhere else in the province, search the stores from inside Alberta. Check that the listing names the Alberta product before installing. An Ontario build is not authorized for use in Alberta.
Everywhere else: the sportsinteraction.com build
In the remaining provinces and territories, reviewers point to a third build linked to sportsinteraction.com. They describe it as licensed through the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission, which is not a provincial licence. We did not confirm app availability in British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the Atlantic provinces or the North. Read the listing before you assume it covers you. The full regional breakdown is in our Sports Interaction review for Canada.
Will it run on your phone? Compatibility checks
theplayoffs.news reports that the Ontario app needs Android 10 or later and iOS 14 or later. We have not checked those figures against the store pages, and requirements change with updates. The compatibility section of the listing is the number to trust. Beyond the OS version, check the following:
- Location services are on. On iOS, set the app to 'While using the app'. On Android, allow precise location.
- You have enough free storage for frequent updates during NHL and NFL seasons.
- No VPN or location-masking tool is running.
- Your connection is stable. Live odds can move in seconds.
- Security patches are current. Older devices may install the app but still fail geolocation.
Logging in on mobile without getting locked out
Your Sports Interaction login on mobile uses the same credentials as the website for your province. An Ontario account signs in on the Ontario build, not the national one. We have not verified whether Face ID or fingerprint sign-in is offered on each build. If the app rejects details that work in the browser, try these steps in order. Update the app, confirm you installed the right provincial build, then use the operator's password reset. This site has no login form and cannot access any account. Our privacy policy explains what we do and don't collect.
Sports Interaction mobile site vs the app
If the store won't show the app, or you would rather not install one, the browser is a practical alternative. Bettingtop10.ca says the mobile site looks the same as the app. We have not confirmed that on each provincial version.
- Browser: nothing to install, works on older phones and uses the same address as desktop for your province.
- Browser: in Ontario, geolocation may need a browser permission or a small helper tool. Follow only the operator's own prompts.
- App: notifications and quicker access, if a build exists for your province.
- App: depends on store availability and your OS version.
- Both: the same account, deposit limits and responsible-gambling tools. Read our guide to NHL, NFL and NBA betting markets before betting live on a small screen, and the payments guide before your first mobile deposit.
FAQ
Is there a Sports Interaction app in Alberta?
Reviewers describe an Alberta build following the AGLC licence dated 23 July 2026. We have not confirmed it on the official store listings, so search the App Store or Google Play from inside Alberta and check the listing names the Alberta product.
Is the Sports Interaction app available across Canada?
Not as one app. Reviewers describe separate builds for Ontario, Alberta and the rest of Canada, each under a different licence. Availability in each province should be checked on the store listing.
Why can't I find the app on my iPhone?
Third-party reports say the iOS listing may only appear when your Apple ID region is set to Canada. You also need to be searching from a supported province.
Can I bet without downloading anything?
Usually, yes. The mobile site for your province is the alternative, and one reviewer says it mirrors the app. Ontario location checks still apply in the browser.
Right build, right province
Check the publisher and the listing's province before installing. 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta. Terms apply.
