Which Sports Interaction are you actually looking at?
Sports Interaction has taken bets from Canadians since 1997, and third-party sources name Entain as its parent company. What most first-time readers miss is that there is no single, nationwide Sports Interaction Canada product. The brand runs separate platforms depending on where you live, and each one answers to a different authority.
This Sports Interaction review is built around that fact. Before you look at markets, payments or the app, work out which version serves your province. A licence in Ontario does not cover Alberta, and an Alberta app does not authorize play in Manitoba. Everything below is labelled by region, and anything we could not confirm on an official page is marked unverified.
Ontario, Alberta and the rest of Canada
Province-specific minimum ages apply. Ontario is 19+ and Alberta is 18+; confirm the age in your own province before opening any account.
- Ontario (19+): a separate product at on.sportsinteraction.com, operated by ElectraWorks Maple Limited and listed with iGaming Ontario under AGCO oversight, according to a register citation dated 21 October 2026. Details in our Ontario access guide.
- Alberta (18+): licensed by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission on 23 July 2026, ten days after the province's regulated market opened on 13 July 2026, as reported by igaming.org and si.com.
- Rest of Canada: sportsinteraction.com, described by reviewers as licensed through the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission. That is not a provincial authorization, and age rules follow your province.
Facts table: what we could and couldn't confirm
Sources were reviewed in November 2026. They are third-party reviews and news reports, not official operator pages or regulator registers. Entries will be updated once they are confirmed on sportsinteraction.com, on.sportsinteraction.com, agco.ca, igamingontario.ca and the AGLC site.
- Founded: 1997 (igaming.org, Daily Faceoff).
- Parent company: Entain (igaming.org, toffeeweb.com).
- Ontario operator: ElectraWorks Maple Limited, iGaming Ontario register listing cited 21 Oct 2026; verify on agco.ca.
- Alberta licence: AGLC, 23 July 2026; verify with the AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation.
- Rest of Canada: Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission, as reported by Squawka and Covers.
- Currency: CAD across all reviewed sources.
- Welcome offer: unverified; amounts conflict between sources and vary by province.
- Minimum deposit: unverified; reported as C$10 and C$20 by different sources.
- App store ratings: not published here because reported figures are undated.
Strengths worth taking seriously
Reviewers keep coming back to the same points, and they line up with what a hockey-first bettor wants from a book.
For how lines, odds formats and settlement work, read our sportsbook explainer.
- Deep NHL and CFL coverage, alongside NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, tennis, MMA and esports.
- Live betting is repeatedly named as a strength by Covers and other reviewers.
- Same-game parlays are available, according to several reviews.
- Deposits are reported to carry no operator fees, and Interac appears among the listed methods.
- Regulated provincial products in Ontario and Alberta, with Alberta support and operations staff based in Calgary.
Limitations, stated plainly
None of these is a deal-breaker on its own, but each deserves the same space as the strengths.
- Three separate products make it easy to land on the wrong site for your province.
- Reviewers report no formal VIP programme.
- Bonus amounts conflict between sources and change by province.
- Withdrawal times vary widely in third-party reports, from hours to several business days.
- Payment method availability in Ontario has not been confirmed method by method.
Why we don't print a bonus number
You will see welcome offers quoted at very different amounts across review sites. We could not date them or match them to a province, so we do not publish an amount, a code or wagering terms. If a promotion matters to you, open the live terms on the operator's own site for your province and read the wagering, expiry and eligible-market rules before you deposit. Ontario promotions follow AGCO advertising standards, which is one more reason not to assume an offer travels across provincial lines.
Sports Interaction support: who answers, and where
Sports Interaction support is province-specific too. Ontario customers have a dedicated help centre at help.on.sportsinteraction.com, according to third-party listings. Alberta operations staff are reported to be in Calgary. Reviewers mention an email channel and claim round-the-clock coverage; neither has been confirmed by us, so check the contact page inside the version you use.
We are not the operator and cannot reach your account. If a deposit is stuck, a verification request stalls or you cannot log in, contact the operator directly. Our deposits and withdrawals guide explains common transaction holds and the documents that usually clear them.
Mobile access: app, browser, or both?
Reviewers describe separate app builds for Ontario, Alberta and the rest of Canada. The reported iOS listing is Sports Interaction: Bet and Play, and an Android listing appears under Entain. Two warnings come up repeatedly: the iOS app may not appear unless your Apple ID region is set to Canada, and an unrelated scores app can surface first in Android search.
If the app is not listed for your province, the mobile browser is the practical alternative; one reviewer says the mobile site mirrors the app. Reported OS requirements have not been checked against the store pages, so read the listing itself. Our Sports Interaction app guide covers Ontario and Alberta separately.
Four guides that go deeper
Each guide answers one question and opens with a province-by-province note.
- Ontario access and conditions: login, account recovery, geolocation, verification and promotion rules on the AGCO-regulated platform.
- App guide: store listings, publisher, compatibility and browser alternatives, with Ontario and Alberta checked separately.
- Sportsbook explained: NHL, NFL and NBA markets, odds formats, live betting and settlement, using hypothetical examples only.
- Deposits and withdrawals: Interac e-Transfer, cards and other CAD methods, KYC, ownership checks, fees and limits.
Who we are, and why this review is independent
Sports Interaction Review Hub is an independent Canadian information site. We are not Sports Interaction, Entain or any of their operating companies, and we are not endorsed by them. There is no login, registration or payment form on this site; the operator's own site for your province is the only place to open or manage an account.
Affiliate disclosure: some buttons on this site lead to third-party offers, and we may earn a commission if you sign up. That never changes what we report as unverified or as a limitation. To reach us, use the support email shown in the footer. We do not publish phone numbers or addresses we cannot stand behind.
Responsible gambling and age rules
Betting should stay entertainment. Set a deposit limit before your first bet, use the time-out and self-exclusion tools the operator provides, and never chase losses. Minimum ages differ by province: 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta, and your own province's rule elsewhere. If gambling stops being fun, ConnexOntario offers free, confidential help at 1-866-531-2600, and every province runs its own support service.
